There are opportunities to be involved at Grace Baptist Church in so many ways - everything from working in the nursery to assembling the Word of God. We believe it takes the whole body of Christ to accomplish the great commission and every believer has a purpose and place to serve in the ministries of their local church. At Grace, there is a place for all to be involved, and we would love to serve you through the ministries of our church.


Prayer Ministry

At Grace Baptist Church we take serious the call to establish “a house of prayer” (Isaiah 56:7). Prayer is an important part of every service, however several meetings are scheduled each week specifically for prayer. During these prayer meetings, everyone has the opportunity to share their needs with others. You can be a part of this important ministry by attending and participating in the following meetings.

Music Ministry

Worshipping the Lord through music is an important part of each service. Congregational singing, choir songs, instrumentals, and special music help to reveal the truths of God’s word to those who hear it. The goal of our music ministry is to lift up the Lord Jesus Christ, point others to Him, and encourage believers. All are encouraged to participate in congregational singing, and church members have the opportunity to sing in the church choir and to sing specials.


Nursery Ministry
The nursery ministry affords parents the opportunity to listen to the preaching of God’s word without interruption. Parents can have peace of mind knowing that their child is in a safe, clean, and loving environment. Nursery care for children ages newborn through 3 years old is available for all church services.

Sunday School Ministry 
On Sundays during the 10:00am hour, we have Sunday School classes for all ages. From the nursery through the adult class, this provides an opportunity for everyone to fellowship with others their age and hear a lesson more directly applicable to their life stage. It is a place and time where relationships can be built and the truth can be taught.

Children's Church Ministry  
Children are important to God and they are important to us. Jesus said “Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” It is the burden of Grace Baptist Church to reach children with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Children's Church provides an opportunity for children to learn God’s word, enjoy games, and make friends in a safe, enjoyable atmosphere.


Master Clubs Ministry  
We believe that it is important that every child has the opportunity to become grounded in the Word of God and we do this in a fun and exciting way though Master Clubs. This is a Bible based program that trains children to serve Jesus through hands-on activities. Our mission is to... 

  1. Evangelize children with understandable and creative ways to present the gospel.
  2. Disciple children by creatively using Bible memory, workbooks, and teacher led interaction. 
  3. Train children to serve the Lord through the local church by providing opportunities within and without the church.


ALIVE Youth Ministry

Here at Grace we have a desire to help teenagers. We want to help them be ALIVE and growing spiritually. Rather than simply "going to church" and putting on a show, we pray that our teenagers will learn to know God and have a real walk with God at an early age. Teens meet for Sunday School every Sunday at 10:00am where they are taught a lesson from the Bible that is geared for their age. Teens also enjoy regular activities that are a great time of fun and fellowship where lasting friendships are made. In all that we do, we strive to provide an atmosphere of godly fellowship and spiritual growth.

Bus Ministry
There are many people who desire to come to church but have no way of getting there on their own. This is especially true of children. The vehicles that God has blessed our church with are used to bring people to Jesus. For information on how you can ride a bus to Grace Baptist Church call (919) 496-2085.

Soul-winning Ministry

The responsibility given us by the Lord to reach others with the gospel is carried out through the Soul-winning Ministry of our church. Weekly visitation, as well as special planned soul-winning endeavors allow Christians the opportunity to give the gospel through the ministry of the local church. We meet on Saturdays at 9:00am to go out on visitation and personal soul-winning.


World Missions Ministry
Grace Baptist Church believes we should be involved in fulfilling the great commission to go into all the world and preach the gospel (Mark 16:15). This begins here at home, but also extends around the world. Our church is actively involved in giving financially to world missions and praying for missionaries. We pray for missionaries each week in our Wednesday Evening services and give out missionary prayer letters so that we can stay up to date with our missionaries.


Scripture Workshop Ministry

Our church is involved in assembling portions of Scripture to be sent to the mission field. This is a hands-on opportunity for our church to be involved in world missions beyond our ministry here at home. We have partnered with the ministry of Bearing Precious Seed by obtaining printed materials from them, and then assembling the materials into booklets which are then sent to missionaries around the world. This is a great opportunity for the whole family to be involved in missions, and provides a great time of fellowship for our church family. ​


Nursing Home Ministry 
​Grace Baptist Church is involved in sharing the love of Christ with those in local nursing homes. This ministry meets on Thursdays at 7:00pm to go and minister to those who are not able to come to us. Music, preaching, and simply loving on these dear folk in their last days has come to provide hope for eternity to many of them. Everyone can play an important role in this ministry through singing, preaching, visiting and loving on these dear people.


Church Planting
We believe that the New Testament pattern for church planting is for local churches to start other churches. Therefore, in 2010, Grace Baptist Church of Louisburg began a mission church in Nashville, North Carolina. As God blessed this ministry and opened many doors, Grace Baptist Church of Nashville was chartered as an independent church in October, 2013 under the leadership of Pastor Tucker Bailey. God has continued to bless this ministry in many ways as they continue to reach their community with the gospel. For more information, please visit the church's website.
